Since 1926, Alan David Custom has been following the traditions of bespoke tailoring.
The experience begins with a visit to our Midtown Manhattan showroom. A comprehensive measuring process takes place and an individual pattern is created. Once your initial measurements have been taken, we will help you select the fabrics for your custom made suits. Alan David Custom carries fabrics from mills with long-standing histories of quality and value, including Loro Piana, Scabal, Dormeuil, and Ermenegildo Zegna.
After you’ve made your fabric selection, your measurements and fabrics are delivered to our workshop where our tailors begin to assemble your custom garment. All custom suits are hand-made with a full canvas construction. No glue or other synthetic is ever used to create our custom garments.
Once assembled, the garment is returned to our showroom and is ready for a fitting. At this point our in-house tailors will ensure that your custom suit not only fits you correctly, but also flatters your body. If needed, our tailors will alter the suit and make adjustments to your personal pattern for future orders.
