The Tea Association of the USA was founded in 1899 as a trade association to protect the interests of the tea trade in the United States. The Tea Association is the parent organization and includes the Tea Council of the USA which conducts generic promotion of tea as well as the Specialty Tea Institue which is responsible for educational programs.
